Bloodwood

Bloodwood is a heartwood which varies from gray-red to a deep rich red. Grain varies from straight to variable. It's texture is fine and smooth. The wood is lustrous and sometimes has variegated yellow and red stripes. At approximately 63 pounds per cubic foot it is the perfect blend of weight, strength and beauty.

Cocobolo

Cocobolo heartwood varies in color from rich red to an attractive variegated appearance of yellow, orange, and red streaks and zones, which mature upon exposure to a mellow orange red. The grain is irregular and varied, but has a fine uniform texture. It is a hard timber which weighs from 61 to 75 pounds per cubic foot.

Purpleheart

Purpleheart heartwood is a deep purple-violet when freshly cut, maturing to a dark brown. The original color is restored when re-cut.

Weight is between 50 and 63 pounds per cubic foot and the grain is straight, but often irregular.

Curly Maple

Curly Maple is creamy white and has a wavy, or "curly" grain. It is absolutely beautiful but at 30 to 35 pounds per cubic foot it is not made for contact.
